Germany鈥檚 E.ON and Italy鈥檚 Enel make first blockchain power trade

German utility E.ON and Italian counterpart Enel have traded power using blockchain technology for the first time. E.ON called the first contract a 鈥渟ignificant milestone鈥� of the 鈥淓nerchain鈥� initiative, 33 European companies that aim to develop a decentralised energy market place.
