German utility EnBW has acquired independent service provider Connected Wind Services with the aim of becoming a 鈥渟ignificant player鈥� in the wind turbine service and maintenance market, the company said in a press release. With the acquisition, 鈥淓nBW is strengthening its position as a full-service provider for the planning, construction, operation, maintenance and service of wind farms鈥�, writes EnBW.
